Visor Basic
The cheapest way in. A brim and a band, no crown.
A 7 centimetre brim on a hook-and-loop band. There is no crown, so the vent count is zero in the sense that the whole top of your head is open.
We have not run the dry-time test on this piece, so no figure is published for it. The column says so rather than showing a number we did not measure.

- Fits 53–61 cm. Measure round the head just above the ears with a tape held level, and if you land between two ranges take the larger. We do not sell anything as one size.
- Pack-down
- Can be crushed into a bag; the crown recovers, the brim keeps a soft memory of it.
- Care
- Machine wash at 30 °C. Do not tumble dry.

Metal parts that sit against skin are held to the nickel release limits of REACH Annex XVII, and any leather sweatband to the chromium VI limit. Fibre content is labelled under EU 1007/2011. Test conditions for every dry time on this site: soaked in 22 °C water for 60 s, wrung once by hand, hung indoors at 22 °C and 50% relative humidity, still air.
