What is actually stored right now
Three items, all of them strictly necessary, all of them kept in your browser's own local storage rather than sent to us with every request. None of them identifies you and none is shared with anyone.
| Key | Category | What it holds | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| capline-cart | Strictly necessary | The SKUs, colours and quantities in your cart | Until you clear it or clear your browser storage |
| capline-mode | Strictly necessary | Whether you chose the DRY or WET view, so the site does not reset it on every page | Until you clear your browser storage |
| capline-cookie-choice | Strictly necessary | Your answer to the banner, so we do not ask again on every page | Until you clear your browser storage |
No analytics or advertising is loaded today
This site currently runs no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing beyond the three keys above is written, whichever button you press on the banner. Should we ever add measurement, it will load only after an explicit acceptance and this page will list it before it does.
The three categories
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the site to work at all — the cart, the DRY/WET setting, the record of your banner choice. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off without breaking the basket.
- Analytics. Would measure which parts of the catalogue get used. None in use.
- Marketing. Would follow you across sites to target advertising. None in use, and none planned.
Your choice, and how to change it
The banner on your first visit offers Reject all and Accept all as two buttons of equal size and equal prominence. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, it takes one click, and it degrades nothing: the site behaves identically either way.
You can change your mind at any time:
You can also block or delete storage for this site in your browser settings. Doing so empties your cart, since that is where the cart lives.
Consent lifetime
Where consent is required we will re-ask at least every 24 months, and sooner if what we load materially changes. Refusing does not limit your access to any part of the site or to any product.
